One clear standard, written by installers and built around results on the ground. It works with any product, from any supplier.

A simple way for homeowners, councils and specifiers to find installers who work to the Code, backed by site checks.

A voice for the trade

Training, shared know-how and an annual installers' day. And a strong voice when standards and rules are being written.

Independent by design

No company owns PSIA.

  • One member, one vote. Every member has an equal say.
  • Installers lead. Installers hold the majority of seats and the chair.
  • Product-neutral. Manufacturers have no role in governance, and we never rank or recommend brands.
  • Not-for-profit. Every pound goes back into the association.
